Just booked to stay at Samakov with Crystal, where do you collect & store ski's & boots throughout the week?Does the Samakov have it's own ski depot? and if so what's the quality of the equipment like?
We stayed this year at the Breza and collected and stored equipment from a depot at the back of the Gondola station just wandered what difference we will have with staying at the Samokov?

You will proberbly use the same ski depot under the Godala station.re: Samakov _& Crystal
If it does turn out that you are getting your kit from the hire depot at the gondola station and any of you are hiring a board then get there early on the first day! The quality of the boards isn't great but the sooner you get there the better it will be.re: Samakov _& Crystal
no , samovov has its own ski depot,its in the basement, its very big and thier ski instructors meet outside to start ski school.Kel

First morning you go down to level minus one, and present your vouchers (given by the reps), you get your skis and boots etc then go into the room next door (leading to outside) and get into your classes. They take you on the short (but rather demanding) walk (because of all the ice on the road!), up to the nursery slopes outside Rila hotel where over the course of the day you will be allocated appropriate classes. After skiing the gear is left in the ski department at the hotel, just show ...
