Samakov and Flora Hotels

Hi All

can anyone who stayed at the two hotels advise on their thoughts.

We stayed at the Rila this year but would like to try one of these.

Not stayed at Samokov, but Flora is pretty good. Newer than Rila and memmry is that food was better (but still BG hotel food!). Give it a go.

we had no problems at the Rila just fancy a change, it was our first visit and first skiing trip and we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.

Why dont you try the Iglika Palace. Go for a superior room for a small extra charge wi inghams. Food good and situated just behind the Rila!!

there were some in our group this year that stayed there and they said it was not that good.

We were facing the Iglika Palace when we at the Rila.

Inghams don't fly from Newcastle so Balkan is our best bet thanks anyway will look at this when we make our final choice

We've stayed at Hotel Samokov and Flora apartments. Also stayed at the Rila, twice!!

Flora alot more modern, rooms nice,never eaten there as always eat out. Quality of rooms a little better in Samokov than Rila and bedroom walls thicker!!!

Breakfast best in Rila and best pool.

All depends what you want.

thanks for your view I know the Rila is good forlocation but the other two are not that far from the slopes.

We are just weighing our option up it will be either Borovets or Austria.

We may even manage two ski trips next year, at the moment Borovets is winning at the begining of March again we just fancy a change in hotel.
