Samokov V Rila

We have stayed at the samokov twice before, this year we are thinking of a change of hotel. Could anyone tell me how the rila compares to the samokov.

Thanks

re: Samokov V Rila

Have been going to Boro since 1988. Apart from one year in the Ela always used Rila both rooms and studios with the kids. All you need is somewhere to sleep and a breakfast. Rila ok but avoid evening meals. Best go out bar hopping and fing some good food. Plenty of choices but PLUG TIME. Get in the TITANIC bar (opposie RILA) and see Vasco and his staff. Known him for years and does good English food and a great English breakfast. Samokov is similar but seems too big and lacks ...

Known him for years and does good English food and a great English breakfast. Samokov is similar but seems too big and lacks atmosphere. Busy bar in RILA and a lot of the Ski instructors meet there in the morning and after skiing. Smaller hotels cheaper (not a lot) but at the end of the day all you need is somewhere to crash at night!!
