A friend of mine has just had their accomodation in Borovets changed from the Iglika palace to the samokov.Has anyone stayed there ?
What about rooms? Food? Is the disco loud if children sleeping?
Any reports or feedback, greatly accepted aand appreciated

i have just recently learned that Samakov is a town hall
but obviously there is a hotel named like it lolCas x

lol @cassyits not the disco but the (uk) people inside and/or outside the hotel making the noise.. I always take earplugs with me

There were people last year who had been moved from the iglika to the samokov aswell due to overbooking. Havent stayed at the samokov but heard it was just a bit like the rila.re: Samokov

Can't give you a comparison with the Iglika cos I've not stayed there. The Samokov is OK but much prefer the Rila. All 3 are within 200m of each other, I think the Iglika is between the Samokov and the Rila.Rila overlooks the slopes

The iglika is a much smaller hotel than the samokov and the rila. It is situated right behind the rila, so you can walk from the iglika through the rila and onto the slopes.re: Samokov
We stayed in Samokov last year and the Rila the year b4 . The Samokov are much more family orientated and less noisy at night time
