I am off on Sat to Borovets cant wait 2 sleeps to go.We will be staying at the Samokov but i am starting to dread it, as it was my choice and we are going as a group all i have read on the board is that the hotel is'nt great. If anyone has any good reviews of this hotel i would love to him.

I haven't stayed in the hotel but the reception area looks pretty nice. Some people in my group stayed there and they said it was a good hotel. They have a loy of facilities in the hotel as far as i knowre: Samokov
Hi i stayed there last year and im also flying out this Saturday and staying there again. The rooms are clean and comfy. Hotel lobby and bars great, pool cold water but great for after a days skiing. Breakfast great you can have an omlette made fresh, dinner okay some nights good some nights you might prefer to eat out, nightclub great if your in a group also buzz bar over the road is perfect, it will be finere: Samokov
The Samokov hotel is great, the rooms are warm and clean. The reception area has loads of sofas for chillin out and having a drink after a hard days skiing! I've atayed there twice before and would stay there anytime of the year.You will have a great time!

Another big advantage is that you collect your skis from the basement of the hotel - your instructors meet you there each morning - and you are right opposite the gondola. Given the conditions at the moment you want to get up to the top to get to the best snow.
I've stayed at the Samkov before and it was fine. Wish I was there when we go on Saturday instead of the Rila as I'll have to walk and extra 200 metres to get to the gondola!!

Stayed there in Jan after 2 years at the Rila,thought they were both fine.Rigs

stayed there the last three years no problem with hotel and handy for slopes and nightlife, you will have a great time so stop worrying, if you dont want to go just let me know i will take your place Rachel

OH NO YOU WONT MAD MARK, stop being greedy you have been skiing twice this year.rachel you will have a good time boro is the best and samokov is good this year was our third time and sorry to say they dont have omelette bar anymore
