Sad news Sarah Burke Top Canadian Free Style Skier dies after sustaining injuries in training. R.I.P.

To all of you going out next week, lets be careful and come home safe.
Helmets for all and you boarders try a gum shield.

Totally agree on the Helmets S.P Finally got one 2 years ago and convinced a few friends to get them now.

I know we have a laugh and a joke at each others expence on here but theis kind of thing does bring it hame that we engage in a potentially dangerous pastime.

Be safe, ware helmets and gum shields, and be sure to come back, and post more funny coments.

I've seen the injuries sustained when boarders have a nasty Face Plant, upper teeth comes through lower lip (ouch) met an awsome Canadian snowboarder who uses a gum shield. Savesa the pain & stiches.

Thanks for the tip, still don't see why gum shields apply to Snowboarders only, I have always worn a quality Helmet and back protector. Have to live a little bit dangerously and give the gum sieild a miss.
