School fines

Just as a postcript to the recent schools fining parents for taking the kids on holiday debate, I have just received a letter from the school informing me that they will have 5 'exceptional closure days' this year in order to prepare for the revised curriculum.
With a clear conscience I therefore intend to give the children 7 'exceptional skiing days' in Pamporovo this January.

good on yer there is education in holidays and theres more to balanced life than double maths! also we are always being told kids dont do enough excercise etc etc

I am also taking the kids out of school for a week in Jan to go skiing and not sure what illness the kids might have for the week!!! don't take them out willy nilly and they are hardly off ill they do all their homework and i even have a tutor for them once a week to help them along. Just make me so cross that we might get punished!!! bla bla bla could go on for ever. Enjoy the skiing, its our fist time as a family and hope Borovists works out well for us??
