The point is Kim - my friends tried to book today for 31st March and couldn't. Crystal, Thomsons and Balkan are now showing no available flights after 8th March.
The resort is NEVER full in late March, nor are the flights so it seems as though all the tour companies have agreed to terminate the season after 8th March due to lack of bookings and cancel all flights. No flight availability now showing to Plovdiv or Sofia with any of the main tour companies. I like to think the problem was ...

Do you mean 31 March for your friends - if so then possible they have stopped as is end of season - I dunno. I know when I went out late last year (5 April) independent on EasyJet no tour operators were there then - hence absolute dead resort, shops and all sorts closed - including facilities at the apartment I was in BUT having had Cameron ill for the week earlier in March I was happy to ski as there had been late dump of snow in Bansko.

I booked about a week ago for Pamps on the 7th MarchThe day I booked, the deal i was looking for just went off crstalski website, i rang them and she said it was because they had just ran out of plane spaces to Sofia for the 7th and if i wanted i could have the same deal but flying to Plodiv instead, i took her up on it as its a shorter transfer. the day after all flights from the 7th were changed to say plodiv instead
