Recently returned from Pamporovo staying at the Monastery 2 apartments. Before we went tried to find about them to no avail. For anybody going you need to know the following. Apartments, modern, well equipped and spacious. Only one bar / restaurant, didn’t eat there but drinks were very cheap and other guests appeared to enjoy the food at cheap prices. All staff are friendly. No safety deposit boxes just share the office safe with other guests. Further away from the resort centre than we expected. Good 15 mins walk up steep hill on a poor unlit road from the Hotel Pamporovo. Total walk will be about 25 mins but didn’t try it. Used taxi’s every night, 10 levs each way, (£50 for the week) bit of a rip off compared to other prices for drink etc but well worth it. Nearest supermarket is in the Hotel Pamporovo but lot more choice and cheaper in the resort centre. Shuttle bus to the ski school on a morning very efficient, takes 10 mins. On the afternoon, most days shared Hotel Evrika bus and were dropped of at the crossroads, then a 5 mins walk in daylight, so no problem.
Overall very good, as long as you budget in the taxi fares.
