Self catering

Hi first year self catering any suggestions for best breakfast in borovets and what the prices are like?

We had a really bad breakfast in BJs. Only others we tried were Mamacitas and Sunny both were very good and cost around 11 lev (£4.50-£5).

Thanks I have been in Mamaciatas before and was good but never for breakfast.

There is a place just opposite the 24 hour pizza joint that did a great cooked breakfast. I cant remember the name but if you are walking down the hill past Ella then its on your right hand side after the Chinese. BTW I would not recommend the Chinese, bad bad experience there.

I can also confirm that Chinese is disgusting, I am sure they use dog as the meat, you may be thinking of the Mucky Duck, yellow fronted building, great breakfast, also superb soups.

The classic bulgarian breakfast Banitza you can have at Fornettis near Bobbys Bar or you can buy some in jimmys Supermarket at the Busstop from Plovdiv/Kostenetz to Samokov.

Some good coffee makes a Dschesve on the oven Cool

Thats the one yes. Lovely guys there too. The pizza place opposite is fantastic and 24 hour. We get there early in the morning so go after dropping bags off for pizza and refreshments ; )
