Hi all, this is my first post on this board although i have been reading it for the last 2 years. I've been to Pamporovo 10 times, Borovets once and i'm going to Bansko for the first time on 2nd January (please let there be some snow). I'll be skiing again in March and wondered if any of you have ever been to Serbia (as advertised in this season's Balkan Holidays brochure). If so, how does it compare to Bulgaria by way of Skiing, accommodation and night life. Any comments would be ...

Any comments would be appreciated, however i still think i'll end up going back to Pamporovo anyway - i love it there!!!

Other than the fact that it's a five hour transfer to resort...I've flown into Belgrade Airport once - we had to do an emergency diversion on a flight to set down a passenger with a medical emergency. We were there nearly two hours and saw one plane land in that whole time. It was only about 3 years ago...

But u have to remember that they have just come out of a bitter civil war. I remember years and years ago that Yugoslavia was quite a popular tourist destination... people will go back eventually.Ed.
