Shall we change resorts?

Shall we change resorts?

Due to fly out to Pamporovo on 28th Jan? Travel agent said that we can go in tomorrow to try and change resort to Bansko or Borovets. This is my first time skiing and will be devastated if I can't ski!!!
What do you reckon???

Nice one who you booked with. I'm off to bansko tomorrow been to Pamporova twice and had a fab time check out hornster and bensons reviews the do reckon it is coming next week. If you are going for a great laugh you should stick to Pamps

thats a hard question,all around looks pretty bleak and given your time I would say change. if you don't mind paying go to a resort that has higher altitude. We are going to Borovets but not until march so we are hoping the weather improves Smile good luck though

If we don't get the chance to ski (which i am ever hopeful), what else is there to do and is the beer cheap?

Everything out there is cheap. And there isn't much snow anywhere else from what I read.

Bansko conditions are better (100 snow cannon in Bansko, 5 in Pamporovo. plus a higher altitude) but Pamporovo is a better place to learn. Pamporovo is purpose built and nightlife is good. Bansko is a little more spread out for evening activities. If snow is ok I would head for Pamporovo otherwise Bansko would at least provide the white stuff with some good runs for beginners, particularly if the resort run is open! Choice is yours however.

Do you have to decide tomorrow or can you leave it until wednesday and see if the snow arrives

Need 2 make a desicion soon as there might not be any decent hotels left in the other resorts. Really don't know what to do for the best.
