Should we pre-book hire/pass etc?

There are 6 of us going out on the 19th February and we're not sure whether to pre-book our board/ski hire and lift passes?

Any advice out there you friendly people?

Of course we're after saving some cash.

its cheaper to do it here. if you book for beginersski pack then when your there you go into whatever group you want (depending on whatever you can do) my fella does it every year Cool

Matt do it before you go. You will pay a lot more in resort.

Book on resort
We did and saved loads
Albena ski package is £100 per adult 6 day pass, ski lessons boots and ski's all included
Ask for Dimitri, he is a great instructor

Do not book before you go, you will pay £125 - £170 per adult and get ripped off
This message will self destruct in about a day, as they don't like this information to be known

Even Albena have put there prices up this year. Much cheaper last year - they are charging more just like everyone else. We only paid £300 for all 4 of us in 2004!! But then again that may have been a pre book fee!!

You should pre book. Val does need some idea of who is likely to be turning up and if you go half term week he sub-contracts all his instructors to Borosport anyway to help meet the huge demand in reosrt that week.

We booked our ski package with Albena it saved me over £70 per person - and for 5 people that adds up. Check the price with your tour operator and see who is the cheapest.

Exactly. Not every tour operator charges the same amount. Some are less greedy and more competitive than others. Neilsons I understand charge in excess of £150 so if you compare them with Balkan who charge £100ish then in resort savings are no better.

If you just go to your tour operator when you are their they will charge far more than if you had pre booked. Also if you buy passes from Borosport they are almost double what you expect to pay as a pre booking.

Hope this ...
