Thats what I was wondering Frank. Look at the posting "I'd pay" below this one.
I hope there is going to be some way. My plan was to take my girlfriend and daughter up there in the afternoons. This way we would get some time together, and hopefully I'd be able to teach them what I've learnt.
One way or another, we WILL make it up there, even if we have to walk it !!!

I think, and i may be corrected, but if you take the four man from the front of the rila, there is a cut through. Please Please Please check before you go up. When you get to the top of the four man lift you can cut through the trees on a cross country track and it brings you out near the top of the one man lift. But Be earned, there won't be many people up there and if you get lost/hurt, your in trouble with a capital trouble, so Please Please Please check locally first.
From memory the Sitnyakovo ski area is on a different hill and not accessable from the 4 man chair unless you walk up!!! the blue run/track. It was 12 years since I was last there so I may be wrong. Going out again on 7 Feb so it's a real pain it's closed for the season. I should have left it another year for the new 4 man chair to open.
Hey Tom this is wrong, you can cross this way but forget it....
I make these hike ones with now snow and some days later with only 35 cm of fresh snow, is not a good idea, I found the way but I've found other ways to.
And with skies is it not possible to take these....

You can ski from the top station of the gondola by an skiing trip to the Chakar Voivoda and fron there down to the Sitnyakova area but from the Mussala hut it is an 2,5 hour walking trip. So it is easy to walk up to the pist on the forrest road from near by the rila. Needs only 1 to 1,5 hour.
Hi,
You can go up the 4 man lift and cut across and through to under where the one man lift is/was. from there it will take you about 5-10mins to walk to the top of the road down. You can't get lost because you just follow the road. I plan to take my girlfriend and her family on that route as they are beginers. Only problem you might encounter is that you have to ski down a part of a red run to get to the pass through to the single man chair lift. If you were to walk the steap first ...

If you were to walk the steap first section would take bout 10 mins butafter that there is a very long gradual slope round the corner to where you want to go.
Good luck
