Sitnyakovo Open?

Looking at the now report for Borovets it says Sitnyakovo is open. If it is how do you get up there?

re: Sitnyakovo Open?

I don't know, but I would like to know, how come and will it stay open for long?

re: Sitnyakovo Open? ?

Sitnyakovo is not open, the one man lift that takes you up their is broken and won't be fixed in the near future.

The new fourman lift and ski runs shown on all the Piste Maps aren't their either. We have just come back and were not very happy at all. The skiing was poor unless you when't above the Gondola. The only problem then is that everyone is up their. Most of the runs down from the Gondola were patchy Grass with lots of stones. So, beware if you have your own skis.

Go to BANKSO ...

Go to BANKSO instead. We had a week their just before going to Borovets and the skiing was excellent. Lots of good runs, no stones or grass. The Runs are longer and more varied than in Borovets. The lifts are in far better condition as well so you can get around more easily. Will post more details about BANSKO in the near future.
