If anyone either suffers from painful ski boots or is just after a super comfortable ski boot fit, I can 100% recommend a professional outfit called profeet in London. I came across them by word of mouth by none other than the man himself, Warren Smith, whom I met whilst skiing in Japan last winter - the man can ski like a true legend and can drink to match!! 
I took my ski boots to Profeet lastnight and spent the necessary two hours with them while they used some sophisticated ...

I took my ski boots to Profeet lastnight and spent the necessary two hours with them while they used some sophisticated computer image analysis software to analyse my feet, ski stance pressure patterns, alignment and then pretty much created a new ski boot specific to my feet, ankles and skiing style along with a custom made footbed that is oooooooh so snug!
Believe me when I say that it was worth every penny and I can't wait to hit the slopes with pain free boots.
As for my ski's, well they have now come out of storage and have just scraped the storage wax off the bases, sharpened the edges and checked the DIN settings and binding release effectiveness.
Am I ready for the new season or what?!
Their is adrenaline and longinging in my veins as I type this and I am lookign forward to ripping up those pistes and float in chest deep champagne powder all day long - yes, I am obsessed in case you were in any doubt!
