Fly out 6th March to Borovets from gatwick, we are new to ski holidays(ski school here we come) would anybody recommend the ski doos for 1st time virgins.Can't wait, 2 more days at work , yippeeeeee

Cannot wait either, and the snow as returned just in time, although it is to get 'snowier' and also alot lot colderHope you have a safe flight and a great time

Great fun, had them in Pamps last week and worth every penny........IMT

I was in Borovets earlier this year and tried the ski-doos. There are places to book them but we were chatting over lunch and our intructor said we can do it through him. I guess that means he made a few quid out of it which was good with us so we let him organise it.
We met our intructor at 8.00pm and had 1hr on the ski-doo. In some ways they were great but in other ways they were not. Basically we followed a lead guy up the mountain for about 30 mins then turned round and came back ...

We met our intructor at 8.00pm and had 1hr on the ski-doo. In some ways they were great but in other ways they were not. Basically we followed a lead guy up the mountain for about 30 mins then turned round and came back again. It was fun but I was hoping to get a bit more speed up. We were 'cruising' at about 20 km overall. That said you could fall back a bit then open the ski-doo up and really get some speed up but it was in short bursts.
A friend or mine went on one somewhere else and was lead to a open area where you could do what you want. Which is what I was hoping for.
Overall great fun for a first timer.....you might want a little more if you've done them before. 1 hour for £20 good value I thought.
Wrap up is all I would say it could be very cold especially when you open them up!!!
I only saw two man ski-doos. The script was after half hour you get to swap places i.e the person at the back gets to drive.

Hi G&A,Me and my wife out on 6th from gatwick (Borovets) and ski virgins as well. Having read other reports over the last week anybodie who has done ski-doos had a great time and a lot of them recommended a night time ski-do.
Yep 2 more days and all us beginners will be hitting the slopes.
