re: Ski Carriage Weight

Check with First choice regarding their allowances but most airlines don't stipluate limits for the Ski gear so you should be ok - the only exception I have found is BA - who allow you to use you 23k allowance on anything. The likes of easyJet etc will only say somewhere in the small print that no single item can exceed something like 37kg - this due to the health and safety implications of having it handled...

re: Ski Carriage Weight

Hi Darran, I flew out to Borovets at the end ofJanuary from Manchester. Holiday was booked with Crystal and we flew with Thomson. I paid £30 for ski carriage (23Kg. limit) packed two pairs of skis plus poles in one bag and the only comment on checking in, was that only one pair of skis would be insured. As I have my own insurance I wasn't bothered. Hope this helps and have a great time.
James.
