Ski Depot MK2

(This is a re-type of my last topic because i forgot to say where i am staying!!)I haven't been skiing in bulgaria before (or anywhere for that matter!!). How far is it from the hotel to the ski depot and from there to the ski school???
Is the food any good and is it a buffet style meal??

According to a previous posting on this forum, there are now 2 different Ski Depots, If you are travelling with Balkan, they are using the new depot which is known as Depot # 1, which I don't exactly know where it is, but the old depot is by the Malina ski area, which is about 5 minutes on the ski bus. Ski school meets outside the relevant ski depot every morning!!Ally

We stayed at the Pamporovo 15th to 22nd Jan and we are booking for next year. We were told the Ski Depot 2 was a 15 min walk......I wouldn't mind walking there wouldn't fancy walking up hill on the way back though. You'll see what I mean when you get there. The food was OK, we always found something to eat and my partner was quite fussy so imagine when they had Fish Fingers and McCain Smileys on the menu.....Defiantely recomend Happy Sausages and I did eat chicken out there but it is ...

The huts on the slopes are brill, we can reccomend the Husky Bar and Grill ate there a few times. You will have an amazing time and will be bitten by the ski bug
