Oh dear, apparently Balkan holidays use a different Depot, the whereabouts i know not, i am sure someone else will read your posting and tell you.
If you arn't in the know already,a big meet to put names to faces etc is planned for mon night at BJ's in the town, just head for the Bulgariaski.com sign! Maybe 'bump' into you at Malina before then
Just got back from the Malina in Pamps so I can tell you all you need to know.
You will meet your rep at reception at 9 am and he will arrange for you to go to the ski depot to collect your ski's etc and be met by your instructor.
The depot is only 250 yards away so for the rest of the week you walk there and back at the end of the day, but the road is also used to bus / taxi alll those who are staying in the main centre so keep an eye on the traffic.
The Malina is a very nice place ...

The Malina is a very nice place to stay. The restaurant serves very nice food but in true bulgarian style the hot food is luke warm - that's how they eat it because it improves the taste. The restaurant also double up as the bar, it even has a happy hour from 4pm to 6pm and 10pm to 12pm for selected drinks inc non alcoholic ones for kids. Dinner is 6.30 -8 or thereabouts and the Live entertainment is a Bulgarian SInger and keyboard player. They sound quite good after 11pm.
The reception has a safe in which you can put your valuables costs about 10 Leva for the week, they can change sterling but not travellers cheques and dont take plastic even though it says they do on the door.
The Chalets have a single ring burner on which you can boil water to make tea but no other facilities other than a sink.
The satellite TV has BBC World for the English and everything else is foreign
The bathroom has a wonderful underfloor heating system but no bath only a shower. The hot water is through a hot water cylinder so once you've had a couple of showers you have to wait for it to warm up again.
A taxi ride to Pamporovo centre is 15 leva each way and is worth doing if you want any night life, you can book one at the reception and there are loads in the centre to get one back.
The ski depot people are really helpful, equipment is good, snow was great, skiing fantastic, enjoy yourself.
