Ski Gear

Went Skiing in Bulgaria ( Pamporovo) 14 years ago, 1st time since so have bought new gear. Will I need goggles, glasses or both?? Just used glasses last time!!!

Hi Deb,
I've only got glasses as find goggles to claustraphobic.
If there is a snow storm will hope to get down quickly

Must agree with above. Googles are too claustrophbic for me too.
You only really need googles if your skiing when its actually snowing etc.
So in normal weather just where a good pair sunnies.

i bought a pair of glasses out there for 10 LEV they lasted the chair lift ride up and a couple of corners they disaster struck. i landed on the floor with my glasses going in 2 directions but what is 10 LEV . Have fun out there

I used glasses (I can't stand goggles!) and they were fine. But if you can find some cheap ones, get them because they are a great help for when you go bum boarding in the evenins. Trust me, you HAVE to try it!

We go on 5th Feb. Hopefully the snow will last!!! Stayin in the Rila.
