Ski Helmets for kids

I've just been reading the post on helmets for adults, but does anyone know if you can hire then in Pamps for KIDS. I don't remember seeing them for hire at the ski school when there in Feb , but by the end of the week my two boys were such daredevils and had no fear that I think this year it might be a good idea, especially as they want to try red slopes. Am reluctant to buy as the little buggers keep growing!!!!

Have you tried Ebay, especiall Winter Shack? They sell brand new gear on auction, and although I have not noticed sizes I have seen helmets for sale, which may last 2 or 3 seasons and you could then sell on.

I noticed kids CEBE ski helmets in my local T K Maxx last weekend for £29.99. Seemed like a good deal to me. Unfortunately there weren't any adult ones or I'd have got one for myself.

Try Decathlon if you can get to one. If you haven't been before it i a sports megastore and ski range is excellent. Kids helmets were 14.99 and there were some last seasons red ones for 9.99. I bought myself one for "5 quid so well worth a visit.... hope that helps.....

Thanks for replies, Unfortunately there isn't a TK Maxx or Decathlon in Pompey, but ebay sounds like a good idea.

depends on how old the kids are, ski classes for younger children will provide them anyway

Interesting, mu youngest was 8 when we skied in Feb and he wasn't given a helmet
