Ski Hire Borovets

Hi I need some advice from anyone who has visited Borovets ,Bulgaria recently. I am going on Saturday and it is my first visit. I am staying in the hotel Rila and really need to know if there are any decent ski hire shops in the town. I am looking for some freestlyle skis for the week and I dont know if to rent here or if I would get anything there. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi there,
It is far cheaper to organise your rental over here along with passes, nearly double the price over there, but if too late, there are plenty of hire shops but avoid the Mariela depot as the equipment is appalling. Might be worth trying to organise your gear through your agent

there is a ski hire/sale shop immediately outside the Gondola station. You leave gondola station and its on the left hand side of the road (main road !!! leaving town)

I cant remember the name of the place but we rented & bought geer their last year as the geer that was rented to us by balkan tours/Rila hotel was really substandard. The staff were profesional and helpful, and the geer was in pristine condition.
