where you staying? Steves ski school situated at the middle station has a first class service!! This was my fifth time skiing (ist in bulgaria) and I have never had service like it!! Their equipment is brand new - no complaints of sore boots in our group! they use excellent brands such as head - top quality gear! Yes it is a case of paying for what you get - and was perhaps slightly dearer in comparison - All the info you need is on their website -

They helped with your boots on and off, on occasion warmed your boots (did this for us even though we owned our boots and didnt hire) carried your skis and poles outside shop and even put your poles upright in the snow! They met you outside the shop on your return and even carried your skis and poles in again for you! Not sure if this is the service you get in the other ski schools in bg - but we will def be back next year and infact every year in the immediate future!

Also we have made great friends in the instructors and there was no queues on the sunday morning - when it can be mayhem!! also you never spent much more than 5 minutes in there when you were picking up returning equipment!!
