Most of the ski schools are pretty good. Fraser is one of the best people to ask and will be on here soon I am sure to give you prices etc as he uses better equipment - some of the others are definitely 'dated'!! Sometimes they ask you to pay in advance or at least pay a deposit, or it can be slightly more expensive but again it depends on the school. Most of the newer / smaller schools tend to have better equipment.
Try at Vasco,s skischool. its infront of the gondola (right of the intrance). always a good price, good equipment, good teacher in board en skiing, small shop, so the people know you personal.
Depends on where in resort you are staying. Flora apts have 2 good depots. Both are independant of each other and worth getting prices from both.
i find these useful cos I stay in Flora but it depends on location.
Paul,
We have just come back from a week of pretty sad skiing, but having been to Borovets 5 times before we know some of the stuff on offer is really crap, but we have eventually found the 'ultimate' ski hire shop. SLS (ROSSIGNOL) under the Hotel Ela, 50m down the hill from the Gondola.
Ask for 'Lubo' he was a top bloke, good price and brand new Rossignol gear - fantastic!
