Ski Insurance for over 65s?

This isn't for me, I'm not there yet LOL!

But on another travel forum this question has come up, a 66yo man wanting to ski in Utah as he has done in previous years cannot get insurance this year with his regular company.

ARE there any insurance companies that anyone here knows of that do winter sports cover for oldies?

Asking because someone might know, and probably there are some of us here that will need to know...

Has he tried saga / help the aged - both do insurance or google over 65s insurance ?? Must be a little frustrating if your a fit, healthy senior to be put in a certain category but that's life! Good luck

I'd like to know that too. What a good question?

66 doesn't sound as old as it used too, and I already have to pay an extra premium for all foreign travel, not just winter sports.

Look forward to some answers on this one because if I'm running out of time will have to start going skiing more times each year from now on.

I use Barclays Bank Insurers, I am in my 70's and I pay a yearly premium of £58.00 for unlimited travel in Europe, it does not cover Winter Sports, but one can ask.
