Ski Jumping @ Borovets

Do the locals still do a ski jumping demonstration each week.
Last time i was in town was 7 years ago, and there was an evening trip(or walk!) to the jump with hot wine/punch served.
It was a great night out.

Borosport put on a ski show every wednesday night and they have a few doing jumps etc......if this is whet you are refering to???.....if your refering to the big ski jump, like competition jumping.....they havent used it for a few yrs now.Closed it.

Yes i was refering to the big ski jump in the woods.
Its a shame they dont use it anymore,my girlfiend was really keen to see this spectacle.
I have found some dates on a website suggesting that BSski jumping competitions were held in February 07 - so maybee a glimer of hope?

There's a ski jump down in the village of Samokov which is used all yr round maybe thats the one they will use for these events, but I have noticed on the link you provided it says Borovets....so it will be interesting to see what happens with the jump in Boro this season.....
