Ski Lessons Bansko (Packages , Lessons, Ski Hire and Lift Pass)

Can you help this is our first time skiing and we have decided to go to Bansko. We have booked our flights and are in the process of booking an apartment, on the website for the apartmenst they also offer a reduce ski package for beginners which includes 4hrs Ski Lessons, Ski Hire & Boots and Lift Pass (6 Days) Costing 249 Euro's. Does the ski package sound reasonable to you or would you advise getting to Bansko and booking lessons.

Definitely pre-book. I didn't do skischool but 6 day lift pass in resort is 280 lev which is £104 at 2.70 lev to the pound which was what they were giving last week.

Bansko is lovely. Enjoy.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

re: Ski Lessons Bansko (Packages , Lessons, Ski Hire and Lift Pass)

On another message posted on this website, someone is advising that there are 2 rates for lift passes, 280lv for tourists and 140lv for bulgarian nationals. The also stated that it is law to have the rate's the same an so if you quote the law, you can also get the pass at the reduced rate. Is this true??

I also read that to have the locals rate you can be asked to produce identification proving you are a resident and if caught you face a major fine. I wouldn't risk it personally.
