Ski Lessons at New Year

Taking the family to Bansko this New Year, I've been before and have not needed to book ski lessons. Can anybody advise me on their experiences of trying to book lessons and equipment when you get their (especially at New Year) or can anyone recommend someone to book through prior to going? I anticipate it is going to be busy (snow permiting)!!
