Ski Lockers

Hi,
My family and I are coming out to Borovets on the 5th Feb, just wondering what the situation is with regards to Ski Lockers i.e. Location, cost...
Also have been looking on the long range weather forecast and it should start snowing on the 11Jan ...it only goes up to the 18th but it gives snow for everyday...but you can never trust the weather forecast so I'll keep looking at the forum...Cheers guys
Suzi

re: Ski Lockers

I cant remember seeing any ski lockers, are they looking after your skis in one of the hotels, if you go with balakan they use the rila and you leave your shoes there.

re: Ski Lockers

We are staying at the Rila...This is our first time to bulgaria, Have booked through Crystal...My previous ski holidays have been to Andorra and you hire your ski's and then hire a locker near to the gondola for the week...I take it that this is not the case in Borovets? :-)

re: Ski Lockers

The guys in the ski depot look cafter you skis or boards. We always use the one to the left of the rila hotel. Walk out of rila hotel 20 yards and its your left by the drag lift.
Nice guys just get to know them.

Enjoy,

Boris.

re: Ski Lockers

Unless of course you wish to participate in the night skiing, whereas you can take them back to hotel (i think!)
Saw a few walking into the Rila with skis in the past.
