Can anyone clear up a question i have please re- Ski Packs, 3 of us are off at beginning of March to Bansko, myself and my 11 yr old newbie skiers so have booked learn to ski pack inc lift pass, boots etc, my fella can ski and has booked full ski pack which costs about £30 more than mine, is this due to the fact that us learners wont be able to go to certain parts of the ski area ie black runs etc?
There is only one type of lift pass - it covers the whole area regardless of which ski pack you have. Maybe you get better skis with the full pack - but definitely no other differences
Yup no difference if you where going to Pamps I would advise you all to pay for learn to ski only as I do this every time because they do not check! Dont think you would get away with it in Bansko so no worth the risk.
Been to pamps the last few years. the only difference in ski packs is, if you have a 'learn to ski pack' they will only put you into a 'beginners group' in ski school. For the more advanced groups, you'll need a 'full ski pack'.
Although, as others have said, these rules are not strickly inforced in Pamporovo, as the instructors dont really check much anyway.
The ski hire company checked my details last year,as I complained when I got old non carving skis,so I asked to change them and had to pay a small premium to do so.
