Some of us are sking and some boarding. I hear the first day can be frustrating and that the equiptment isn't up to much.. is that right? Or as a beginner will I even notice the quality of the equiptment ????
I'm off snowboarding with my b/friend on the 21st and also total beginner. From what he has heard all sounds quite good with the coaching! had one lession so far in the UK and that was great fun and not as difficult as I thought!
I found the Ski School last year was pretty good and the equipment was ok.
The most frustrating thing about the first day was the massive queues of people waiting for equipment. If you have any problems or are uncomfortable with the equipment given, then ask them if they can swap it.
will you be getting your equipment from The Samikov or Rila? If using the Samikov then try and get Lupo as a Ski Instructor and Bobby for snowboarding. Great teachers and a great laugh too.
having been to ski school in Pamporovo I cant comment on Boro BUT I would confirm that the level of teaching was tremendous, and the equipment well suitable for 1st timers/beginers. Our instructor would meet up with us after ski school and take us skiing. she went that bit extra and made it a memorable holiday so we tipped her generously.
