Ski Schools for 'dry slope' skiiers ?

Hi Chaps & Chappesses,

I'm after a bit of advise. I've learnt on a dry slope to a point where I can get down the slope and be reasonable confident of staying upright most of the time and not flattening anybody. I'm just starting to progress onto parallel turns. I've never skiied on snow before. I've booked a beginners pack and was just wondering how well the schools cater for the 'Snow Virgins' who aren't first timers.

There will be hundreds of you in the same boat and you will all be put in to classes of equal ability. Most find snow easier to ski on, so I am sure you will progress very quickly.

The focus is on fun, and the more you fall the more laughter that creates and the more fun for all.

Relax and enjoy, it will be your best holiday ever!!!!!!!!

I would think that you will probably be ok in a basic intermediate group. However, if you have just taught yourself at the dry slope I would recommend you start in the beginners group for expert tuition as you could be doing it dangerously and risking injury.
After all, if you are finding it too easy, you can always ask to change into an intermediate group.

That's put my mind at rest. I am taking lessons on the dry slope, so I'm happy that I'm not a danger to myself, and not too much of a danger to anybody else

I'm really really looking forward to going
