Ski Storage - Bansko

Hi

A large party of us staying at the Hotel Perun. A number of us have our own gear and the rest of the party are using rentals. Anyone know if the Hotel Perun has good storage facilities or would it be easier to store them wherever Neilson use for rentals?

Any advice appreciated.

The Perun is a decent walk from the gondola, it has good storage, but its a pain walking back in your boots... keep em at the ski rental...

I stayed at the Perun 2 years ago and they have good safe storage.
A shuttle takes you to the Gondola and this was always waiting there when I finished skiing for the day, so leaving them at the hotel was not a problem.

When walking to the Gondola from Perun Hotel, how long does it take?
I'm sure we booked there because it said it was only a few minutes walk...which would enable us to go into the town to eat without getting a bus..

It's about a 5 minutes walk I'd say, when i went 2 years ago we just took our gear up into the rooms, was handy for if we needed to make any adjustments to boards etc

The perun has the minibus service like most hotels for if you dont fancy the walk

I'm staying in the Lion over the road this year at the start of March

Walk into town isnt a problem really, doesnt take that long and isnt worth taking a bus or taxi for, you'll love the peruns facilities

We looked at staying in the Lion but was fully booked!

We stayed in a Lion in Borovets last year and it was fantastic!

Thanks for the advice, looks like we have various options then. So looking forward to staying at the Perun and hope that Bansko proves to be as much fun as Pamps.
