Ski Storage

Just about to hang up the skis for the summer....booo.

We purchased a set of skis for the first time this year...I was wondering what I should do to them to keep them in top condition?

How should they be stored? Upright? Lying down?

Thanks.

re: Ski Storage

Hi

Personally I'd leave the bindings alone. But the important thing, is clean the bases with wax remover and a scraper. Once clean, re-wax them, so the bases dont dry out. And dont store them in a damp shed or garrage.

re: Ski Storage

I always make sure mine are completely dry, then spray them and the bindings with WD40.

Then I store them in a polethyne bag in the loft.

Dont forget to seperate them (so they are not fixed together with the brakes) Exclamation
