Ski Tracks App

Has anyone tried the Ski Tracks app. I used it in France recently and spent may a happy hour analysising and comparing the various data recorded (that sounds soooo sad!!) Whilst promoting safe and responsible skiing what's the top speed recorded. I could only manage 63.9km/h must try harder!!!!

A couple of us used this last year in borovets what a cool app just keep trying to go faster we managed 83km/h but I can say the bum started going at that speed...

That's some speed your doing, I've been known to drive slower than that!! Bet you weren't on Georges run at the time!! I see you are out for the 11th Feb week perhap we could see how many others we could get recording runs that week. I will resist the urge to suggust comparing data!!

I must admit not to be tried by the faint hearted lol. It was on Yastrabets 3 I think, just checked on my phone, gutted I was telling people 83km/p it was actually 86km/h. So pleased with all the snow it's going to be a blinder this year. Have a good one maybe see you at Bobbys bar at some point.

Which app is this? I found a few but none actually called ski tracks. Also does your phone have to be connected to the Internet or just the gps when on the slopes, Internet abroad is pretty expensive for me!

Hi Rach,

The Ski Tracks app logo is a large white snowflake on a blue background. The phone doesn't need an Internet connection all data is gathered by GPS tracking. Check out www.corecoders.com for details. Hope this helps.

Hi, been looking around to see if there's any better apps this yr. I've used My Tracks (Android) previously. Records all the stats and your route without a data connection, then when you hit Wifi it will download the map for your route. Only thing it's missing is Facebook integration. I'll check out Ski Tracks!

I've used SatSki on HTC's for the last couple of years in France, but they don't do maps for ~Borovets. May need to find another Android App that does.
Any recommendations?

And as I was behind Lawrence but keeping up with him, i'll confirm that speed. It was fingers crossed that I didn't have to make any adjustment

Thanks guys!!! I was more than happy just bimbling along at my own pace...now what have you done telling us about this App, there is no way I will be able to resist it!...If I kill myself on 25th Feb, my wife won't be happy with you lot...atleast I don't think she will
