Hi again
Looking out my office window at Vitosha is killing me! Some of the best snow in years and the damn place is shut!
To that end, I am planning a little adventure to the top over the next couple of weeks on snowshoes to get to the summit. Should be a 2-3 hour hike (carrying skis/board) and we anticipate it should be an awesome ride to the bottom as it looks as if we can take it from the top right down to the southern part of Sofia's ring road.

If you want to come along for the ride let me know. I have free snowshoe hire (from local SP) but you may want to rent a transceiver/search poles for the day (about 35Leva). It looks like a firm pack but I wouldn't like to loose anyone!
Let me know if you are keen but please make sure you feel you are up to a sufficient level of riding/skiing so as not to slow any one down. In terms of the ascent, regular fag breaks will be required!

Yes.Would have to be on drugs (or stop smoking) to go from the very base!!!
