Ski Wear

Hiya

I am going to Pamporovo in Jan 2004 for a week. Is it possible to buy cheap ski wear in resort or is it better to take from the UK?

i'd take it with you, just incase you dont get any there. i know there are shops you could buy it from there, but whether you'd have time to buy them before you have your lessons i dont know. what week are you going?

If you're looking for cheaper ski wear in this country then try www.skiwear4less.com. They offer a mail order and internet service and also local roadshows which are across the country during the winter season. Friends have been to one of the shows and got some good bargains.

Thanks for reply. Do you know how prices compare in resort to the uk? I have got most of my clothes but could do with few more things. I'm going 3 Jan 2004 for a week staying in Hotel Mourgavetz.

Don't even think of buying in the UK.

Latest style suits are available throughout Pamporovo at a fraction of UK prices.

My wife buys a new one every year, and they cost about £60.

Shops are open from 10am until about 10pm and there is a wide choice.

The only other thing is to try TK Maxx - I got my new jacket for this year for just £17 - and its a really nice one. They tend to have a good variety, just need to have one near by and be lucky.
