I'm a bit worried about the weight of my suitcase, so can anyone tell me if there is a weight limit on the ski boot bag, as i was going to try and cram as much as possible into that.
i did read somewhere that the weight of your boot bag has to be included into your 20kg suitcase allowance, as it goes in the hold. hope this helps. have fun
Went to Bansko 3 weeks ago, we stuffed our board bag with as much as possible to protect the boards didn't have a problem with weight. Nielson company told me it didn't matter how much the board bag weigh
I think you'll find there is an overall weight limit per person for all luggage going into the hold of the aircraft so how it is split won't make any difference.
Some airlines say a max. of 32kilos per bag for 'health and saftey grounds. Easy jet for example allow your normal 20kilos plus a further 10 kilos for sports equipment, as long as any one bag is not over 32kilos. Most airlines will be able to advise you on-line.
Heading down to Gatwick now from Inverness, and flying to Borovets tomorrow!!!!!!
