don't know how pice compares to the uk, but i would stick to uk as no languge problems when fitting, they can push boots out if theres a tite spot, most shops will have a return policy
if your in the south west i would recommend devon ski centre, they often have last years models at great prices, last month i only paid £133 for sum head ski boots

in that case, definately get them fitted here in the uk and be prepared to spend the time> dont get fobbed off by S&R selling you what they want you to have its your money, be comfortable.
I have to say getting properly fitted boots is a must if you have any slight issues. I have huge calves from 20 odd years of footie and struggle to get boots that do up let alone fit as I have small feet too.
My ski instructor took me on Saturday out in pamps after a day skiing and spent literally hours making sure mine were perfect.
Although he did have issues with me insisting they had to not only fit but look good he he. Good luck with your search. Oh and if you're anywhere near ...

I'll second that Dona - Angie bought a new pair at Filarinski's that appeared great when she tried them on, but on skiing in them the first day they werer really tight and uncomfortable. Took them back and Marco changed them immediately with no fuss and no charge.
Also bought my new skis there - Atomic Smokes and I lovvvvve them
why oh why does the ski boot manufacturers not cater for people with wide feet?-I always have difficulties and although I am only 8st.12 and small I have wide feet and always end up by having boots a little larger to sort out the width-nordica seem to be slightly wider. My daughter who is very over weight basically doesn't ski now as she can't find boots either wide enough in the feet or the calves.Any solutions folks-yes we have been to Filirinskis but not even Marco can find the solution.
