Hi,
Your boots should be tight around the ankles with no ankle movement. You should be able to fit two fingers down the front of the boot and your shins should be able to flex forwards.
They will make sure that you get the right fit when you hire them, just let them know that your a beginner!!
Hope you have a good time.
Craig
Your boots are better being a little bit tight fit as your feet shrink a little due to the cold, bang the heel on the ground a few times to get your heel firmly back into the boot,if at the end of the day your feet hurt, change them next day, they wont mind.......remember to cut your big toe nails.....this sometimes counts!!!
