I have just lifted this from SKIDVDs forum. The guy who posted it lives out in Bulgaria and knows a thing or two about a thing or two!! Hopefully this will help ease some of the concerns over conditions.
Ski conditions up top today were magnificent in Borovets went for a half day with a friend from the UK, and as quoted by my very good friend Sasha after I asked the question... Do you think any more snow this year? he replied "well March is the month we usually associate with a women"... ...

In March you have to watch out for the angry old lady who changes her mood very rapidly. Her name is Grandma Marta, in Bulgarian Baba Marta. !!!!!Andie

temp today is currently 6c in the resort. The runs at the top of the gondola are in perfect condition, but the higher temps are affecting the runs lower down. The mussala pathway was ok yesterday, bar one bad corner, the lower yastrebets slopes showing a few stones and rocks, and the lower rila runs are very slushy and deterioating quickly. Further up they are ok.Warmer weather expected for the next few days so it will gwt a bit worse lower down, but as said furhter up its still fantastic

It's a long way up on the gondola in a thong. Mind the ski down from the gondola!! Pray for snow
