Ski equipment

Hey guys,
where the best place to find out about boots, skis, polls etc? I'm still a newbie at skiing but knowing about all that stuff wouldn't hurt Smile

just general advice I guess. At some stage I'd probably like to own my own equipment

i hve found most shops will give general advice on what to look for but some skiing mags give specific advice for each type of boot, ski etc, they will need to know your ability, weight height and type of skiing you will be doing, some of the online shops also give excellent advice have used skiwear4less who were very helpful and gave impartial advice
