Ski hire info

Hi there all , looking forward to borovets at half term 2014 ( went last two Christmases , bit disappointed with snow conditions last year) . Can any one help just trying to book ski's online , we've got a twelve year old ( big lad ) and don't know if he's classed as a child or adult because there's about £100 difference in price and that's a whole lot of thanks

Hunters, or Snow Master do good deal, I think that twelve should be lass as child, but Mass on here will know.

Hi,

12yrs is actually classed as an adult by Borosport so unfortunately, you have to buy an adult lift pass / package.

I have some discount codes for some of the ski achools so please send me an email (click on name) if you need any more help.

It's a pity it's not based on mental age. There are a few on this forum who would get half price ski passes, including me.

My son is 17 and still uses a child lift pass. If you go to the ticket office and buy your lift passes and just say he is 11, never been checked and I have accidentally used it on 1 occasion. However, I have heard the lifts have a new system now so unsure on data capture.

The system now will flag each pass as you walk through barrier, and it will note adult/child... not worth the risk as you will have the pass taken from you
