Ski hire

Does anyone know if you can just turn up at Borovets and hire everything and organise ski school there. We are booked into the Rila with Neilsons but there packages are £170 when Thomson are half that price. Thomson wont sell the package unless youre booked with them.

If you can does anyone know the cost of hire etc in the resort,

check the price with neilson for the total ski pack,ski's,boots,tuition and lift pass.if you book these then you may get the lift pass free.

Book the beginners packs - same deal, just cheaper. They'll assess you before you start ski school, but everything is the same

Don't leave it until you get to the resort - BIG MISTAKE. When I was in Pamps last year, someone who booked a last minute deal wasn't able to book ski packs - lift passes alone cost them over 100 in the resort.

As Judith says and it has been said many, many times before DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT trying to save money and pay for everything localy YOU WILL PAY MORE! £170 for a ski pack and pass?? sounds ok to me if you think thats expensive you should try the alps!

Inghams Learn to Ski Pack is about £110, I was suprised also to see they we're the cheapest all round.
