Hi
I'm staying in Pamps for 11 days end of Jan 09. I have had two years of instructors, some better than others. I am going to try the green runs with a friend for the first day or two with the option of having a instructor for two days after. Can anyone recomend a good instructor?
We had Nick this year, he owns the hut shop as you go into the car park on the left. He's freelance I think but we had him via the ski school cos they needed more instructors that week. He's very good, patient etc. He's in the Bulgarian ski demo team & Maria, head boss for Balkan ski school spoke very highly of him.
We certainly came on leaps & bounds this year & would certainly have him again & we've had a few different instructors in Pamps.
Two years of instructors and you're still on green runs
I presume you mean 2 weeks
If you are going in ski school then you really need to be with a group who will be allocated an instructor from day 1. If not, and you are looking for private tuition then there is only one person I would strongly recommend.
Try Pete at Interski, (which is located next to the Snowshack at Melina 2.) He works independantly and is a brilliant bloke as well as one hell of a skier.
Thank you both for your help.
Sorry didn't mean two years. Lol. I had an instructor called Kolojan I think from the place that Miss Hopeful has mentioned. He was excellant, I wads amazed how well I could ski in the four days I had with him, couldn't contact him this year. Still hopeful for next year though.
I did go for a week this year and had Angel on the Nursery slop he was awful. The first day he told me there is no way I had skied before, he just kept putting me down. The next ...

I did go for a week this year and had Angel on the Nursery slop he was awful. The first day he told me there is no way I had skied before, he just kept putting me down. The next instructor then said I was really good and that I shoudl be on the harder runs. Then had another free lance instructor, who didn't understand English really. I was hoping to be off the green runs this year. Don't want to be stuck on them again next year, so looking for a private instructor.
Really useful to have recomended instructors. I don't supose you know how I could contact any of them?
Thank you.
