Can anyone tell me whether its cheaper to book ski passes / skies and private lessons (for a few hours a day) before getting to Borovets or waiting till we get there. There is only two of us and the holiday company want £195 each - is this cheap?
Hi
I'm in the same situation. I have looked around for prices for 3 beginners in Borovets for March. Prices are generally over 200 pounds each for equipment, lift passes and group lessons (4 hours a day). I didn't expect it to be this much but I have never been before therefore I am not sure.
Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated
Pete if that includes a lift pass that is not a ridiculous price. If you want the luxury of private lessons and not joining in with a group you will pay extra.
Best to book your ski passes and ski hire before you go and fix lessons when you get there.
Check out the posting on George he does private lessons either all day or just mornings I think.

I would also say with the lack of tourists this season there will be several instructors that will be looking for work. If you offered one of them £100 for 4 hours a day for 5 days they would probably rip your hand off.
No I am not aware of any companies that other private tution. But The post does say private lessons and if that is the price then its good. If they are looking to book a learn to ski package and join in with a group then of course it will be a lot less.
