I am thinking of taking my 6 year old son to Pamporovo a week before the February half term break. I have skied several times before and we all skied last year in France.
Im hoping to get him into ski school and not kindergarten as he is reasonably confident and I want him to learn to ski.
Does anyone know if this is possible - Balkan Holidays say they have to be 8 years ?
Also would I stick out like a sore thumb as a middle-aged single mum in Pamporovo?!!
re: Ski school for 6 year olds and one parent skiing
i think balkan are quite strict on the ages but in stead of kindergarden then private tutition is quite cheap and you can both ski together in the afternoon. As for yourself i have been going every year for the last 7 years and you will not find a friendlier place. You will make lots of friends and will exchange addresses or emails. You,ll love it .

Yes Balkan are strict on the age thing. A couple of years ago a couple that ended up in my group had a 7 year old boy and they had a heck of a job to get him in our group. They eventually relented and it turned out the little sod was the best skiier
