Ski school for kids

Hi

My husband is taking our 2 sons (aged 9 and 11) skiing in Pamporovo on 11th Feb for 4 days.

They have skied for the last 4 years on short holidays, so are pretty confident. Normally we hire an instructor we know to take them out, but he is working in Austria now. He was great as he was a young lad, and my 2 loved him....

Can any one recommend some one? I was also thinking about ski school for them, but I've not used one before, so I'm not sure how it works. Can they go for ...

Can they go for just 4 days or does it have to be a whole week? Would they be with other kids, or a mixture of adults and kids? I'm not sure if they would prefer ski school or an instructor.

Anyone got any advise???

Thanks

Hi Pete

I don't think they mid either way. Do you know what's involved at ski school? Do they stay in groups with other kids, or are they a mixture of kids / adults? What sort of hours do they run?

Thanks

re: Ski school for kids

You can choose either - if they prefer to ski with adults they can or they can choose to ski with other youngsters.

Ski school starts at 10am until 12 noon.
1 hour break for lunch then off again until 3pm.

They will be skill tested (just a short 'do your best turn' ) at first then put into a group of similar ability.

All very laid back and fun and if they feel the need to go up or down a level then this can be sorted very quickly.

Cool

re: Ski school for kids

As PP says ski school would be ideal as they have skied before plus as its half term finding a 1-1 instructor is a nightmare as its so busy. I'm also out on 11th so maybe I'll see the littluns ......... am sure if Snow White sees this soon she will be able to send you details of ski school at Malina 2 she uses ( same one I've used for last 7yrs since my son was 4) or Amanda also recommends a different one at Malina 1. Depending on where you're staying you might want to consider ...
