Please can someone tell me when the season ends/ lifts stop etc and what the conditions are normally like beginning of April I was hoping to come out 1st week of April?

Only been there once so I'll leave it for someone else to advice you on lifts etc. Balkan are doing flights on 1st April but I think that could well be their final week. Sure to be quiet but with the current snow conditions it should be fine.

Annie, I have only skied bansko as late as 2nd week in March, the weather can turn mild late in the season and it can badly affect the ski road and lower slopes, but with the amount of snow this season the base may well last well into March/April, there is nothing better than skiing on todorka and other slopes in teeshirts. Steve C or Nightmuffy will hopefully see your post and give you the published Ulen season dates, but they do sometimes close if conditions are poor. Hope this helps ...
